Education – international focus
To strengthen our team at our Munich location, we are looking for a working student (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. The position is limited to a maximum of two years and involves 16-20 hours per week.
In a time of profound global change, we at the non-profit Siemens Stiftung (Foundation) are committed to sustainable social development. Together with individuals and communities, we open up opportunities for action to actively shape social and ecological transformation.
Our international work focuses on three key areas: Essential Services, Digitality, and Climate. We want to tackle challenges in these areas together and use them as opportunities for innovation and positive change.
Through our projects in Education, Social Entrepreneurship, and Culture, we promote access and participation, strengthen future-oriented skills, and enable collaborative learning. In interdisciplinary collaboration, we combine local action with global perspectives, thereby specifically supporting resilience, social cohesion, and regenerative practices.
In the field of Education, our work focuses on STEM subjects with an emphasis on climate change education, digitality, and health. Our target groups are teachers and students in publicgeneral education schools.
Your future tasks
Supporting international project work with local and international partners with a focus on STEM education in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and India
Supporting the collection of statistical data for project evaluation and monitoring.
Supporting the organization of events.
Research work on education-related topics.
Supporting general office work and administrative tasks.
Preparing and taking minutes at meetings.
What you bring to the table:
ou are in the upper semesters of a bachelor’s degree program or at the beginning of a master’s degree program in one of the following subjects: education and educational sciences, social sciences, humanities, or related subjects.
You have an affinity for educational topics and international cooperation.
You are interested in international educational landscapes, digital platforms, learning content, and innovative teaching and learning methods.
Ideally, you have some initial experience in the field of education, particularly in the area of Open Educational Resources (OER) and climate change education.
You have organizational skills and a conscientious, independent, and proactive approach to work.
You have intercultural skills and enjoy working in a team.
You are business fluent in German and have very good written and spoken Spanish and English skills.
Very good Microsoft Office skills round off your profile.
