In the Ozobot race, the little bots are programmed on tablets to navigate their way through a recorded maze as quickly and skillfully as possible to reach the finish line. Siemens Stiftung, CFO Robert Balthasar (right) also enjoyed the game.

With the “Makey Makeys” from TüftelLab, students (and adults) can enjoy create “talking posters” and other objects—and learn about electrical circuits at the same time.

Guests were able to view what the students had already created in the MINT Hub at various stations. This included visions of sustainable mobility and living in the Berlin of the future.

Many partners and supporters joined Siemens Stiftung in the opening of the flexible and innovative learning space, which offers ideal conditions for “maker education”.

Since its launch in May 2022, Siemens Stiftung’s STEAM Hub in Berlin has grown into a place of learning and teaching. Dr. Nina Smidt, CEO and Spokesperson for the Board at Siemens Stiftung, at the opening of the new learning space on 13.05.2025.

With a focus on female participation, the training and internship program unlocks economic opportunities for 400 youth.
