Speakers
- Silvia Fernandez Castro (Research Economist, LMU Munich, Germany) will share insights on how social stigma and taboos impact economic development.
- Blandine Umuziranenge (Founder & CEO, Kosmotive, Rwanda) started her social business in 2014 to improve reproductive, maternal and child health in Rwanda and thoughout Africa.
- Bettina Steinbrugger (Co-Founder & CEO, “erdbeerwoche”, Author “Bloody Business”, Austria) has focused with her start-up on breaking the taboo around menstruation and on sustainability in menstrual health products and services since 2011.
- Nancy Nyaleso (Executive Director, Empower HER Initiative, Kenya) has streamlined with Empower HER financing, real-time tracking, and last mile distribution of period products thourgh its groundbreaking e-wallet DIGNIFY since 2019.
