In January 2026, German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Prime Minister Narendra Modi adopted the new Indo-German Comprehensive Roadmap on Higher Education, placing education, research, and skills development at the heart of the bilateral strategic partnership.
Against this backdrop, this roundtable convenes leaders from academia, business, government, and civil society from India and Germany to discuss a robust pathway for nurturing scientific temper and research competencies from the formative school years onward.
Siemens Limited (India), and Pratham Education Foundation are pleased to invite you to the Strategic Roundtable: “Nurturing Scientific Talent in India through Indo-German Cooperation in education, innovation and skills.
The roundtable discussions build on the successful launch of STEM Education for Innovation: Experimento India by Siemens India, Siemens Stiftung and Pratham in 2024. Now expanding through digital Open Educational Resources implemented in Siemens India’s Project Jigyaasa for students from low-income communities across India. The initiative demonstrates how early, hands-on STEM engagement can contribute to long-term scientific excellence, feeding into Indo-German innovation partnerships.
