To strengthen our Business Administration & Controlling team in in Santiago de Chile, we are looking for a Chief of Business Administration & Controlling (m/f/d) as soon as possible, initially for a full-time period of two years.

Key Tasks:

  1. Lead and coordinate the Administration and Project Controlling department, implementing controlling tools, at the Latin America Regional Office
  2. Coordinate the overall administrative planning of local projects
  3. Provide support for local project development, focusing on administrative and budgetary aspects
  4. Ensure compliance with foundation regulations (German foundation law), covering legal and compliance considerations.
  5. Oversee the economic representation and implementation of projects, initiatives, and related processes at the Latin America Regional Office
  6. Support and guide the drafting of local project contracts
  7. Take responsibility for developing new innovative and strategic concepts for local administrative processes and workflows
  8. Contributing to the ongoing development of controlling tools
  9. Manage the evaluation of local data
  10. Oversee the local (IT) infrastructure

Your Profile:

  1. University degree or equivalent qualification
  2. Several years of project management experience and relevant professional experience in Business Administration (controlling, legal, accounting)
  3. Experience in the foundation/non-profit sector, preferably in an international or German context
  4. Knowledge of relevant KPIs/financial ratios in the foundation sector
  5. International project experience and strong project management skills
  6. Experience in implementing new concepts
  7. Intercultural competence and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive, independent, conscientious, and results-oriented work
  9. Very good communication skills in written and spoken language, as well as presentation and moderation skills
  10. Very good English skills and preferably (very) good knowledge of German
  11. Very good skills in common MS Office applications
