To strengthen collaboration for sustainable education and resilient communities, the V Encuentro convenes in Lima, Peru, from July 21-23.
Initiated by Siemens Stiftung, the three-day conference is co-organized by Red STEM Latinoamérica, Instituto Apoyo, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and CIDSTEM at Pontifícia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
Under the motto “Collaborating to transform: Together for sustainable communities and territories,” the meeting will bring together leading players from academia, civil society, the private and public sectors to exchange ideas, experiences, and solutions for the future of education in Latin America.
The STEMplus approach is at the heart of the regional education conference, promoting inquiry-based and context-driven learning. The aim is to empower teachers and students to navigate challenges in the fields of access to Quality Education, Climate and Digitality and together co-create sustainable solutions.
The conference provides a strategic platform to strengthen the regional educational ecosystem: Bringing diverse experts and practitioners from Red STEM Latinoamérica‘s STEM+ Territories and beyond.
The Encuentro will host diverse formats such as STEM Talks, presentations and workshops to best integrate the different target groups attending the conference. It will enable conversations and peer exchange, paving the way for deeper local and regional collaborations across Latin America.
