Young performers present their responses to the music of our time. Selected works from the 20th and 21st centuries, performed by outstanding students from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, offer a challenge to inquiring audiences. In each of the five concerts in the season, a new work by a young composer from the classes of Prof. Isabel Mundry, Prof. Jan Müller-Wieland or Prof. Moritz Eggert will be given its first-ever performance. Introductory conversations with the composers and performers give the audience an insight into the underlying factors and sources of inspiration behind the compositions.
