Outstanding young interpreters engage with the music of our time. Selected works from the 20th and 21st century, played by outstanding students from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, appeal to audiences’ sense of discovery. Each of the six concerts in the 2011/12 season will premiere a new work by a young composer from the classes led by Prof. Jan Müller-Wieland and Prof. Moritz Eggert. Opening discussions with the composers and interpreters will introduce listeners to the background of the compositions and their sources of inspiration.

A concert series organized by the Siemens Stiftung in cooperation with the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München.
